life update
things are pretty good. laura and i had such AMAZING garlic tofu this evening. my band's new song is sooo good. i got a fifty cent raise. my girlfriend moved away so i ended things kind of. i've become sympathic to primitivists. i actually bought uffie vinyl. i got an A on my ethics quiz today and school altogether is going well. mother's starting using vegan cheese in the kitchen (tofu mushroom melt!!!!!!!!). i'm really excited for the unstated events that will happen in the next several weeks. i'm going to sleep.

agreed. derrick jensen although fun to read is pretty bad bad bad.

i love how a book of his can appear to be semi-rational until he starts saying that all of society needs to be brought down to its knees and that only its destruction can truly free the earth & all living species.

wait wait...whats irrational about saying saying society enslaves living things and needs to be destructed to free them? granted, when you reduce his booklong philosophies to one sentence, such a claim is going to sound unsubstantiated. but i think this is common sense... i can look out my window and see we are trapped in an ever expanding techno-industrial wasteland of oppressive hierarchies, i can see that the western way of life is unsustainable and thus headed for collapse, why would opposing these things make one bad? if society is the problem, destruction is the answer.
